IT-Techie has built its reputation over many years in the education sector. We have a wealth of experience in training and supporting learners and instructors/teachers. We put that experience and particular skill to use by offering on-site training in your own home and training in larger groups using a purpose built training facility.
2 Options
We have two options available for you.
- Training in a group where you will benefit from group dynamics and also from a purpose built training facility and from others' questions,
- Train In the comfort of your own home and surroundings using your own equipment.
'Starting Out' - 22nd February 2013 for 6 weeks (Taking bookings now)
We offer a 6 week starter course that will equip you to 'have a go' at most things that you need to on your home computer,
From knowing the main parts of the box to designing and presenting a digital presentation for the boardroom, this course will help you to make sense of computers.
It may be that your children know more than you and frequently need help that you can't give. You may have a specific difficulty and need just a little help to overcome it. You may just need to polish up on your IT skills.
Whatever your need IT-Techie's 'Starting Out Course' is the course for you.
'Starting Out' - £50.00
Computer starter skills course (6 Modules 1.5 hours x 6 = 9 hours.)
Week 1 - What's in the box - exploding the myth
Week 2 - Using your computer + managing it's files
Week 3 - Word-processing - Letters and general work
Week 4 - Spreadsheets - Accessible Budgets
Week 5 - Presentations - Powerpoint made easy
Week 6 - Internet and Email - Browse and communicate with confidence
This course is designed to help you gain valuable knowledge that will help you in the modern digital world. The course is intended to give you maximum hands-on experience and to give you confidence with handling a PC or Mac.
This is a course for beginners but you will still learn much and have many questions answered even if you have a working knowledge already.
